So on my drive home from work today, I take Malibu canyon to get to the PCH and what do I encounter but a dusting of snow on the ground. People are pulled over to the side of the road, taking pictures, playing in the snow. Surreal scene for sure

I don't think I'd want to go down the Topanga Canyon road when it was icy!!!

And snow in freakin MEXICO? I saw a post on another forum where a Canadian living in Mexico built a snowman on the hood of his car while the rest of the locals ran around in total panic, it was quite an amusing read.

Snow? Mexico? Whoda thought we would ever see those two words in the same sentence?

Yeah, I just made it through before they closed it down last night. It was still closed this morning and the detour was super sketchy. It was sunny today so I'm hoping its open so I can avoid the freeway.

What part of the PCH were you on? Oh, I hope it doesnt head up north to the Bay Area! I prefer to see snow only when I want to, like in Tahoe

I know this thread is about snow in places that have not/do not usually see it....but in the dead of winter here on the east coast, we stand a good chance of getting a thunderstorm tomorrow of all things....
