Default Calgary Utility Rates

Apartment hunting has come into full effect and am now wondering what the utility rates are like. In an apartment electric would be the only thing I would need to sign up for. How is the natural gas rates? Living in Saskatewan I am paying on an average $45 for power a month and when I had natural gas it was roughly aroun $250 per month. Is that about the same I can expect in Calgary as well?

umm, depends on the size, how warm you keep it, etc.
I pay around 80-120 for power (I have a deep freeze and a dryer) and around 40 for gas in the summer and up to 120 or so for gas in the winter.

I've compared my power bills to the sones my folks have back in Sask, and you will probably pay a bit more for both electricity and gas. (That is of course for having a slimlar sized home etc. Gas bills might be lower because of the more temperate climate in Calgary.)
