A weekly look into the 5 hotest and 4 coldest teams in the cphl.

HIGH FIVE:
1. Washington Crapitals...it appears as if this team is unbeaten in 10 games and yet this is their first time listed in the top 5.

2. Florida Panthers...5 straight wins, enough said.

3. Colorado Avalanche...have quietly taken over the conference lead.

4. Minnesota Wild...still one of the top teams in the Howe conference.

5. Edmonton Oilers...3 straight wins this week has the Oilers quickly moving up the standings.

Special Mention: Stars and Thrashers

FALLIN' FOUR:
1. Philadelphia Flyers...6 straight loses, one has to wonder if Noops starts making several moves to start rebuilding.

2. St. Louis Blues...currently on a 3 game losing streak, can the super kids carry this team?

3. Boston Bruins...several changes this past week and it resulted in a tie, they are still last in the Gretzky Conference

4. Anaheim Ducks...last place in the entire league, just 3 wins so far this season.

Special Mention: Jets and Noobs.

If you had a mediocre 5, I'm sure the Jackets would meet that criteria. It's been the franchises MO since inception I think. .500 on the year, .500 in our last 10. We're never good, and we're never bad.
