Now I know Calgary builds towards the mountains as everyone wants a view of the Rockies.

However I was wondering what the good neighbourhoods are on the east side of Calgary (possibly if there's water that'd be cool) and what the cost difference might be.

This is my own curiosity than anything else...

You can see the mountains from many places in Calgary ,even the eastside, and even east of Calgary.

Closest water is the Hudson's Bay, I kid. Lake Winnipeg.

We have manmade lakes. Lake Chestemere is an irrigation lake that gets its water from the Bow and dishes it off to a bunch of farmers south east of us.

Lake Chestemere has nice big houses of all price ranges.
And your neighbour might be running a grow-up so you don't have to go far for your,.... ahhh you know.

Price difference ? 300,000 to a million on the eastside.
300,000 to 10 million on the westside.

There are lots of different districts ,little towns, villages, etc about to be swallowed by Calgary in all directions.
