Default The Agassi / US Open

Anyne else been watchng this? The match against Baghdatis on Thursday was amazing. Just watched the replay of round one against Pavel. Hard not to root for Agassi. Nice to see a legend go out still playing very good tennis.

Yeah that match vs Baghdadis was awesome. I'm amazed that Agassi is still playing, and playing at a high level. We'll see if he can keep it up. Looks like he may end up playing Roddick if he beats B. Becker.

Agassi v. Becker - awesome!

As great as this story is, he's had two long tough matches at the start of this tourney - wait till he starts playing the heavyweights. To get to the finals he'll have to thru Roddick, Hewitt and Nadal if the favourites move thru in his draw. The Open has Federer v Nadal written all over it

It would be nice to see Agassi win his final tournament. I don't think it will happen, but it is still good to see him playing so well.

I couldn't help but notice how smart he is with the ball. Either he is lazy and lucky or he knows exactly which shots are in and which shots are out and doesn't run/try for the shots that are out. You'll see so many others hussle their butts off to get to the line just in case the ball is in, but Agassi seems to know when he doesn't need to run.
