Default Quebec Frogs?

I'm not intending to be racist, but I'm not sure these guys have the same intentions.

Oh my, missed about 5 beats while I figured out the significance of the frog.

Anyone remember that Simpsons episode? Bart : "Ah, the life of a frog. That's the life for me." Later on he goes to France on the exchange.

i dunno, they could have just want and named them the Cheese Eating Surrender Monkeys

but the term Yankee was originally intended as an insult to Americans, and i don't see many British people that terribly upset at the term Limey. they need to lighten up a little

Well, we do have the Roughnecks.

Hitmen is not such a great nickname either (yes, let's name our family-oriented team after paid mafia assassins).

And then there was the Calgary Boomers of the NASL.

Perfect name to tie the fans of Bret "The Hitman" Hart to a team he partially owns that has a significantly overlapping audience to the WWE.

James.

Yes, but the team was named when he was part owner.

I know that. Your original post stated he was still an owner. He hasn't been for years.
