If a man cuts off a woman's tits = not funny (probably because violence against women is too common, and a big problem).
If a woman cuts off a man's junk = funny, and everyone usually assumes it is because she has a pretty good reason.
If a man cuts off a man's junk = not usually funny, more like an episode of the Sopranos.
If a dog bites off a man's junk = depending on the dog, could be funny, or another episode of Sopranos.
If a beaver bites off a man's junk = fracking **** your pant's funny regardless of other circumstances.
So I guess it is just all about context.
