Question help converting 3gp files to .mpeg?

Can someone help me on how to convert 3gp files into an mpeg? I recorded some clips on my cell phone and transfered them to my computer, but i have no idea on how to change the file types. I tried searching google but the only information i could find was a program that only did the reverse (.mpeg to .3gp).

Thanks in advance

Don't know how you missed it. First return on Google.

AVI should be fine but if you really want Mpeg, AVI to mpeg is even easier.

I think you can do it in windows movie maker...

Import the clip into the program and then pull it into the timeline..

I cant remember if you can export the file (i use adobe)... but think you can go to save as and save it as an MPEG file..

hope this helps, as it has been awhile since i have used the program.
