Calgarypuck Prospect Ranking 2025 - Round 11
Welcome to the annual Calgarypuck Prospect Poll!
As per usual ...
1. Rank the prospects as you like. Upside, chances, or trade value
2. I will try and do one a day which should get us to mid to late August
3. Graduates and/or runoffs will be determined in each case
4. Please don't complain that the polls are going to deep. We go until all the prospects are ranked, so don't vote if you don't want to.

Once again ... don't vote for the players at the top. Takes longer to update.

Will vote Suniev- he may win easily though not sure there is a huge gap between him and others in this next tier - gives me a day to figure out who I’ll go with next
He can score goals and that’s a hard and important thing to do

It’s the least I could do- as I said a few days ago I think S features prominently for a while now - probably with sprinkles of M and K

Suniev for me. Rangy goal scoring winger with a high end shot and good instincts for puck protection and getting around defenders. It remains to be seen whether or not he can do that at a higher level, but he's shown well so far wherever he's been. A big season coming up for him in the AHL. I'd love to see him on Kerins' wing. I feel like Rory sees the ice well and can spring him for an open look. A good season in the AHL will give him a real opportunity at the big club next year.
He's followed on my list closely by Misa and Kerins, both underrated by the voters so far. After that, we're getting into more depth and role player types, or guys with a lot of unknowns like Stockselius. Should be a fun debate when we get to round 14 or 15.

Have to like prospect #11 being an already signed top six hopeful with size and finish.

Suniev.
Stromgren up next. He’s been a slow burn, hopefully his good first half season last year sets him up for a jump this year.

Suniev!
Still so many good prospects. Might be one of the best pools we’ve ever had.

This might have been the toughest choice yet, there were 3 or 4 here that I could have picked. Went with Suniev, but Misa, Hoskin, Stromgren and Stockselius were all right there.

Agreed. Nearly went with the consensus Suniev, but landed on Stockselius.
I'll call it vibe voting.

I did go with Suniev this time, but I am not going to lie, the Stockselius train is picking up steam

Pretty wild that Kuznetzov might make the team out of camp this year...and he's not on most people's radar in the top-15

I went with Misa here based on talent.
Aydar's skating looked quite a bit below NHL level in the one game he played (although he's got lots of runway to improve).

Suniev is an easy choice here - should be higher IMO, but the last member of that tier, then we drop to the next tier.
