Yeah, CC talked about it in the media at the golf tourney and Flames announced he was hurt when he left the camp..

I was looking forward to seeing him play live, but understandably, he may need to heal up for main camp (that, and there are lots of other players on the Flames that fans will be seeing for the first time).

What does Honzek look like? According to Martin Posposil, Sam had hit the gym pretty hard this off-season and bulked up considerably.
I still have high hopes for him.

Loving the positive reports on Honzek. He looked fantastic last pre season. A year in the AHL and gaining 15 lbs in the off season definitely got me (very delusionally) dreaming of the Kopitar comparable that Haynes threw out there in July. But hey, now is the best time to be delusional lol.
A potental Honzek-Kadri-Pospisil line would absolutely wreak havoc and help Sam develop that snarl that could elevate him to another level.
