Was an awesome pick at the time and looks even better now. Great drafting recently by the Flames. Flames desperately need more finishers on the roster and this kid has a hell of a release

He will be on the Flames ASAP to burn 1 year which is the incentive to sign. I think he'd be eligible to join the wranglers after the Flames season is over

no. If he signs an ELC, it's NHL only. To go to the AHL, he'd have to sign an ATO for the rest of the season and have his ELC start next season. Both NHL and AHL is not an option, it's strictly either/or.
