For sure. Poor luck for the kid in his D+1 year.
Would still take love for Conroy to find a way to pry Tij away from Utah. Doubt Utah is dumb enough to trade him at a point though when his value might be perceived as lower due to this injury. Similar with Lindstrom. Both these players are losing significant development time from injuries but the smart move for their teams is to wait it out and be patient with their recovery and development. They are young and still have a good chance to reach their potential - although Lindstrom’s back injury was perceived as a serious red flag before he was drafted.
Since both these players are amongst the youngest in their draft class, it could almost be perceived as an injury in their draft year and they could have lots of runway to make up for the lost year with another season in Junior.
