Taking a while to get to 5000

After that hit it could be anything. Muscle tear, concussion, concussion of first born (TBD)

I think they should elevate Zary to Kadri's line and Coronato to Backlund's line

I still don’t understand what he was going to do there. It didn’t look like he was braced for contact at all. Did he think they were going to say hi and skate away?
Add to that, it was against one of the toughest hitters in the league…

Feel badly for Honzek, but I don't hate it from a roster management perspective. Gives Zary and Coronato more opportunity. Let's the Flames send Honzek down to AHL for a conditioning stint when he's ready. By the time that's finished, I wouldn't be surprised if the Flames have opened up one or two roster spots for him via trade.

Coronato gets bumped up which was likely if he was going to be sent down, and Klapka probably comes in as he is better suited for the 4th line.

It's possible that they are letting Zary learn the centre position from Backlund, and then they will move him into a responsible role in the second line middle. Like they successfully did with Bennett, for Florida.

It looked like Honzek was just going in for the casual hit and Murphy surprised him with the full-force reverse hit. Looked like he got his shoulder pad right into Honzek's sternum. At the time, I thought he got the wind knocked out of him, but obviously it is something much more serious than that.
As for the lineup - Coronato deserves to move up, and Klapka deserves to get back in.
