Ok so this is the open batch meaning remaining free agents are up for bid. You must have room under cap for any offers.

I've done my best to make sure the free agents are there, but i've not done the full off-season sim update. So if you see someone you are interested in you should cross reference to make sure a team doesn't own them by using the site search:

You'll notice a lot of rookies are on these lists, those guys aren't free agents so that's why you need to check.

Or CPHL if short.

If you want to fill up AHL, then the contracts need to be 2-way. Be mindful of the AHL cap as well.

Well, alrighty.

Now that it's past the deadline, I thought that I would type out what I did in this batch, and then in the morning, see how it all pans out.

I really only targeted one player. I offered a sumly amount, that in theory should be enough to land the player. I think that it is more than any player got in batch 6 last year. I did this because I am a forward short on my CPHL team, and really don't want to have to by a goon on the market.

I also threw out five pathetic offers on some vets. This was my backup plan to losing the targeted player to a GM that wants to throw around monopoly money. Two of the players are not playable, but I think would be good to sit on for a year looking for a rebound, and three are in the playable realm.

I also am trying to nab a prospect that I like. Looking for that sweet min contract.

Doesn't have one so basically 55.
The strategy would be hoping he has a good year and then is a cheap well rated player heading into 2025/2026.
But not really a playable player for this season.
