I think I saw it reported that he was asking $8 and the Ducks were asking $4.5 going into arbitration. That would have been only one year, so to get him locked up long term is good for the team.

With out looking at stats to back up this argument and just based on watching him play. I thought he was a comparable player to Mangiapane. Granted he's looking like a 1st line player.

I'd say Terry is a top 6 and Mangipane is a middle 6.

And then posters on here speculated that that meant we should grab him for cheap, lol. Love CP speculation on valued RFA's that haven't signed that clearly will sign with their team in time.

It's not only that Calgary could get in there and make a deal to get them but that we could steal them for a reasonable price because the other team is dealing from weakness!!

Unless the offer is crazy I think Zegras will bet on himself and do a 2X$6m and wait for the cap to go up, I'm told Jamie Drysdale wants a short term contract as well coming off of injury.
