Default New Name & Numbers on Jersey

Is there anyone in town that will replace the name and number on a Flames jersey? No comment on the former player whose jersey I no longer want to wear to games.

You'll likely need to remove the old numbers and name bar yourself and they'll sew new ones onto the blank jersey. You won't likely find someone who will remove them for you.

As long as they're sewn on and not heat-sealed, the old numbers and name bar are pretty easy to remove. Go to a fabric or crafts store and buy a seam ripper. You should be able to get one for less than $5. Take your time and cut the threads holding the numbers on.

Depending on how old the jersey is, you'll probably still be able to see the outline of where the old numbers were stitched on, so it would be best if you could just replace the name bar since it's a simple rectangle and pick someone with the same number as the person you're replacing... e.g., Cammalleri for 13, or Tim Hunter for 19 if it's a retro. Or, if it's a 19, you could wait until Matt Coronato signs in the spring and hope he keeps the same number from Harvard. I think that's what I might do with my old #19.

Does anybody know if the 2019 Heritage Classic shoulder patch is removable by taking off the threads or if it was also heat sealed on? Is there a way to tell without first causing damage?

go to the inside of the jersey and "pinch" the material inside the patch area (if it's double layers of material for the shoulder make sure to get both layers).

if you can pull the fabric without the patch pulling in then it won't be heat sealed to the jersey and you should be fine to remove the patch

I don't know if they still do it, but back when I lived in the area, West Hills Alterations removed the name bar for me back in 2015. They did a great job with it!

The numbers may be a different story though, plus I suspect the former outline of it will always be visible, just FYI.
