I keep thinking, ok NOW we'll see what this team is made of. Backs against the wall, need a win, no excuses. But then they put up a dud.
At this point, a single point would be nice.
And Gio really needs to step up. Is it me or is every play he makes completely telegraphed? He holds the puck so long and stands still with it. I swear more plays die on his stick than I've ever seen from him.
As for forwards, Tkachuk, Lindholm, Johnny, and Monahan. You're supposed to be driving the bus here, and when all 4 do this team is pretty good. Those 4 have done nothing offensively.
So yeah, those 5 players are key for me. Would be neat if they played a good game.
Given how that last one ended, how clearly fed up some players looked, I'm positive they actually come out flying (for a Sutter team) today. Flames win it.
Don't worry guys, it's my birthday, so it's a 3-6 win (?)

960 guys having fun this morning. They mentioned the last time the Heat played the Belleville Senators last month they put four pucks past Gustavsson. The Heat scored four goals on this guy and the Flames only one. It's pretty hilarious and sad at the same time.
