Hi everyone,

I'm not sure if this is an appropriate post so if it's not then please feel free to remove mods. My son's hockey team, Canmore Eagles U13, has qualified as the Alberta finalist for this year's Good Deeds Cup. Our kids selected Rocky Mountain Adaptive as their charity. For those who are unaware of them, Rocky Mountain Adaptive works at securing sporting equipment for people with disabilities.

By qualifying as 1 of the 11 finalists, our kids have guaranteed $2K for this amazing charity. If they are voted into the top 3 it's $5K, and if they win it all there is a $100K award prize for this amazing charity!

Of course, all 11 represented charities are amazing. However, we've been getting amazing support from the Calgary Flames and are hoping that their fans can do the same!

Thank you to everyone who took the time to vote for our team. The support we received from the Flames, especially, was incredible. It definitely got our kids excited to see messages from Gio, Dube, and Gaudreau. For all of you planning on watching HNIC on March 20th, I believe they will reveal the winner during one of the intermissions of the Flames-Leafs game.

At the end of the day there will be a group of kids who will have accomplished something really neat for an amazing charity in this country, which will improve a community's needs. In that sense, we all win.

Go Flames Go!
