I have this system at my work and it's awesome if anyone is wondering. I charge the batteries a couple times a year and that's it. Great buy.

Thanks, I should also clarify that this is a model that is a few years old (2016ish).
It's the 720p model.
The wired power cords are great for locations that are higher/harder to reach to make it more convenient having a wired power connection. I used it for mounting it above the garage so I don't have to worry about pulling out the ladder to swap batteries.

Do the cameras fare OK in the cold weather?

yes, I have not had any issues in the colder weather. I had one camera installed just above my garage and it worked perfectly, especially since it was plugged into an outlet for power.
The only thing that might be affected during the colder weather, is that the battery would drain faster in colder weather, but using the included power adapter would resolve that.
