Good piece of business for the Jets, probably about $500k too much but worth it to keep him away from UFA.

Kid is just coming into his own, he is probably worth 2.5-3m now and will continue growing defensively; unfortunately this is a good deal for the Jets

Surprised he didn't wait a few more days. Someone else would have offered this deal and then he wouldn't have to stay in Winnipeg lol.
