Lots of placeholders here with so many regulars still unable to join the main practice group.
But you can start to get an idea on what the team’s desired lines and pairings are with everyone together, which we’re guessing will be soon. #Flames

If Backs or Ryan end up missing playing time I think we will be getting excited about lafreniere in a few weeks lol.

Bennett is a Center, maybe an opportunity to really get some reps in. Janko needs redemption. But Im keeping expectations low on Janko. Really wanted him.to explode this year, not implode.

I seem to recall there being something in the RTP protocol that players having been, or suspected of being in contact, with a person who tested positive for COVID, would have to be separated, tested daily, and produce 4 consecutive negative tests before they could be reintegrated back into the team. Does that sound familiar to anyone? If that were the case today would be the fourth day.

Guys haven't skated or at least not at this level in months. Muscles be tweakin.
It is frustrating. Obviously not ideal. But I expect guys like Ryan & Backlund are entirely precautionary and will be back at it next week.

Interesting comment from #Flames trade-deadline acquisition Erik Gustafsson, says he maybe held back a bit in his first seven games with new team. Feels he has more to offer, especially on offence.
