We are so happy to bring our captain back to New York and we're even happier to bring him back without adding any more salary. All due respect to Grabner but he's very overpaid.

Anders Lee "C" - Eric Staal "A" - Dustin Brown is a first line I can live with. I'd prefer if Brown were on the second line but that's something I can address in due time.

I can't see myself detracting from my forward group at this point considering it's my biggest area of weakness.

Definitely set on defense and in goal, though. Really proud of the depth I've assembled at both positions.

Karlsson — top-10 NHL dman
Leddy — solid #2
Pettersson — solid young #3 tracking towards top-pairing calibre
Nemeth — #2 on Detroit playing over 22 minutes a night
Zaitsev — #2 on Ottawa playing over 22 minutes a night
Schultz — solid #4/5 even in a down year with huge offensive potential
Sekera — #4 on stingy Dallas defense playing 18 minutes a night
Hunt — #1 PP quarterback for Minnesota with 8 total goals and 10 PPP
Ericsson — old reliable! (?)

Plus perhaps someone else coming soon, potentially for a very low acquisition cost.

and in net:

Varlamov — Islanders' starter with a .914 in 45 GP
Raanta — ran tandem for Arizona putting up a .921 in 33 GP
Francouz — dominated in Colorado with a .923 in 34 GP
Hutchinson — ...old reliable! (?)

If I'm trading anyone it sure as hell won't be a forward at this point.
