Avs acquire Nylander
The Colorado Avalanche acquires William Nylander from the Calgary Flames. Avalanche GM has added another piece to its roster to build a contender. After acquiring veterans Duncan Keith and TJ Brodie I’m the last week the Avalanche are “all in”
Going to Calgary is the 7th overall pick in the 2020 draft and a 2021 3rd. “We feel with Nylander being only 23, whoever we picked at 7 would hopefully be the type of player Willie is. This simply just speeds up the process and decreases the risk and unknown with the pick.”
