Yikes, Boychuk just took a skate to the face.

Looked really ugly.

Boychuk goes down and his immediately kicking his legs and gets up and bolts down the tunnel. No blood either, which could mean it got his eye...

The Penguins losing streak will be coming to an end. They lead 5-2 early in the third period.

The other big eastern game has the Blues up 2-1 in the late stages of the third period.

Preds look like they are playing themselves out of a playoff spot. One wonders what the fallout will be if they miss as that Duchene contract does not look good on a team participating in the draft lottery. Maybe time for new direction in management?

Kevin Fiala is playing really well for the Wild right now. Looks like Fenton may have got that trade right.
