Default Flames lose 3-2 in Montreal

Brutal first 2 periods and final couple of minutes.

Also, Montreal is incredibly dirty. There were at least 4 foot on foot trips by Montreal that went uncalled, as well as the clear dangerous boarding on Gaudreau. Not blaming the refs for the loss, but feel free to protect the players.

One of the worst games I've ever seen this team play. They should be absolutely beside themselves after that "effort."

Bad effort doesn’t begin to describe this game. The only explanation is that they were all still drunk on the ice. That final three minutes was painful to watch. We could barely complete a pass.

Probably should have lost against the Rangers, too.

Flames, do better. We know you can.

Hamonic is missed.

Such wildly varying efforts between games, it's strange.

They got what they deserved.

Rittich was good though. Gio was his usual self.

Gaudreau and Monahan can sit the next game though for all they care.

As much as I'd like to just blame the reffing (which was terrible) Calgary didn't play to win anyway.

When Hamonic is healthy I wouldn't hate seeing Brodie scratched

For how bad the game was overall, if the Flames actually could score at least one PP goal, they may have had a chance to win still.

Once again, is this gonna be another season where the PP sinks the team?

Okay, **** it, Let's trade the farm for Nylander. At least he could save our power play.

Didn't get to watch the game. What happened? I saw we were badly outshot.

Looked like everyone had money that they would lose but forgot to tell Riddich. I cant get over just how bad they played and how awful the refs were. The head shot in the first, the 2 slew foots early in the first, the Johny hit, something should have been called on the bonehead Domi play post buzzer, etc.

Burn the game tape and move on. It's all they can do after that debacle. Complete waste of a brilliant goaltending performance.
