My 10 year old is a huge fan of the show Heartland. We'll be down to the Cgy area this weekend and I'd like to take her for a drive to see some of the locations used in the show.

Does anyone know any spots or have suggestions to check out?

She's a horse nut and it would really blow her mind if I were to surprise her with a few spots.

Are there specific locations you're wanting to see? I'm not familiar with the show at all, but I do know one of the location managers personally, so could find out where things were filmed for you.

A couple good pictures and a great diner lunch in town. Lots of dialogue from my 10 year old that this scene happened here, and that scene there, and over there is where someone broke up with her boyfriend on the show....

Fun fact you can use to impress your kid: the baby girl on the show is actually played by two baby girls that are twins. Boom.
