I know Haynes said the path to the WC is easier but man the PAC 2nd seed is only 3 points out. Crazy how close everything is. I think if LA and SJ both lose tonight the PAC will be wide open, especially sine ANA lost yesterday. At this point I think both paths are open, which is good.
Anyways, go Arizona, Washington and I am going to say St. Louis.

A number of posters have said lately that the path to the PAC playoff spot is easier, and I now am starting to agree.
So, when the Central teams play the PAC, I am starting to hope for the Central teams, like Dallas over Anaheim yesterday. Plus Calgary plays those PAC trams more, so they control more of their destiny.
Sports Club odds now reflect that, as they have Calgary as a 15% chance of being a PAC playoff team, but 12% as a wild card.

That was my general feeling as well. I know Haynes used the strength of schedule to make his case, but at this time of year I don't think there is an easy out.

Duclair slowed right down and looked like he was ready for a hit, instead Marchand jumps in the air and wraps his hand and stick around his head. Should have been a nothing play.

He very clearly tried to avoid contact. He shouldn't have left his skates, but it was a direct result of him trying to miss Duclair.
He'll probably be suspended/fined too for the slewfoot Connor Murphy gave him on the next shift.

Knights are coming back to earth. Wouldn't mind Calgary playing them in the first round if they could make playoffs .

Very clearly? Not to me. It’s Marchand. He gets zero benefit of the doubt from me, he knows what he’s doing.

Laine has 40 goals. He’s an okay player.

Lol I don't think Marchand ever tries to avoid contact. He seems like the kind of guy who always wants to get the better of the other person even if it means being dirty. If he was trying to avoid contact, he wouldn't wrap his hands around the guys head, he'd try to dive to the side.
Marchand has earned the right to be considered a dirty player and this play seems dirty because it's him doing it

Not a total turd in Philly but losing 2-1 kinda blows.
I feel like Minnesota is going to catch us and host the 1st round

Because of the head shot Duclair gets twisted and his right skate catches an edge.
Marchand will never learn.

If we didn't come back to win that last game of the season that year, he'd be a Flame.

Really glad the Blues are beating the Kings.
Teams behind us can beat teams ahead of us all day as far as i'm concerned.
