I don't want to blame anything on the refs but it feels like they're taking control of games with their calls and non-calls. Part of it is the dumb play of some on the team but there doesn't seem to be a clear line of what's a penalty and what isn't. I'm just venting and frustrated.

I haven't seen too many calls against the Flames that I would argue, but every game I feel like I am seeing almost identical plays by the opposition go uncalled. If a stick in the hands is a hook then call it both ways, very frustrated seeing the Flames going to the PK over and over just to have them get highsticked with no call.

Not that it matters with the Flames PP, but it would be nice to not be screaming at the tv because of reffing for a night.

Have to win this game. That said given how they lost to a Wild team that was half an AHL roster I have my doubts they will win. They really need to start playing better on home ice as they have looked better on the road so far to start the season.

Not sure how that sounds terrible. Was there last weekend and would have shown up early to to have a few cheaper drinks, check out the FanAttic without being crushed and enjoy warm ups. I like this idea.

Conny and Rollie Cyr were plugging it on 960 this morning. At least they are trying something as they may be able to generate some extra business and the concessions may not be as backed up at the beginning of the game.

1) facing a back up - Lehtonen will play all world for some reason;
2) facing a tired team on a second of a back to back.
