After one period, it is 1-1 in the Habs-Rangers and Penguins-Hurricanes games and scoreless in the Senators-Devils.

That Paakarinnen goal was stinky. That is why I don't want Bishop on the Flames. Just don't get the hype with this guy.

The Islanders, Lightning, and Jets lead 2-1 in their games, all late in the second period.

Kadri just jumped into a hit on Chiarot.
Looked ugly to me, but nothing called on the play.

The Jets and Leafs scored four goals in the final four minutes of the second period, including two of them in the last minute, 4-3 Jets.
The Habs and Rangers are tied 2-2 heading into overtime.

Bah. I suppose Colorado beating the Kings would've been asking a lot.

Judging from the insufferable Leafs circle jerk on the TSN website these days, I'm glad I'm not living in Canada--must be unbearable.

So many good games on last night! Contender for best night of hockey of the year.

'Hawks win 5-3 over the Wild, Schmaltz/Toews/Panik accounted for all the 'Hawk scoring, Toews with the hat trick and two assists, Schmaltz goal and two assists, Panik goal and an assist. Wild scored 2 PPGs, to keep it close, but, 5 on 5, rarely had any possession. I gotta laugh at some Wild fans whining some on 3rd period non-calls, as one of their PPGs, the one that made the game 3-2, came on a "penalty" that seemed incidental skate to skate contact, where the 'Hawk was strong enough to stay up, and the Wild guy wasn't.

That is two wins in a row for the Blackhawks over the Wild and the first regulation win in ten games.
