Need to keep rolling. HL has not been good recently so hopefully we take advantage of that.

Finally a game where I don't have to wake up at 2, 3, 4am to watch.

3:0 for the good guys.

Predict that Flames go up two, off of the Bennett and Backlund lines, and cough the lead up again after Wideman takes a stupid penalty and kills the momentum. But the Monahan line shows up for the 3rd and seals the victory.

Would be nice to get more games like the Wild one though.

Better than nothing. Growing up in SW Ontario, before CI came out I was pretty much screwed as far as seeing the Flames play most nights so I appreciate whatever broadcast there is.

Not expecting much out of this game. The early start favours NY heavily considering they play an early start game almost every weekend. IMO if it is an ealy start game it should be an east team vs east team or a west team vs west team.

It is 2017. Calgary's heroes are trapped in the most dangerous place on Earth. Now, only the most dangerous puppet alive can rescue them:

Spoiler!

Go Flames

Maybe I am having selective memory, but it seems to me that the Flames typically stink for games with weird start times.

Not too sure about this game. Hopefully flames can get a point out of it.

I don't have the stats in front of me but I do have many bad memories of afternoon games as well as games at MSG. Admittedly those games were during the Iginla days

For the first time this season it's a prime time Flames game in Sweden. Make us proud!

Prime time game also here in Czech republic. 8pm on national sport TV channel. No need to use my GCL sub this time :-) Agree, make us proud!

More afternoon weekend home games would be welcome too, for those of us with kids at least. I think the Flames only have 1 afternoon weekend game this year at home.

Too bad NHL.TV has a delay of about 30-40 seconds... would be nice to participate in a GT for a change.
Oh well, I settle for a nice 8 PM faceoff and a full 8 hour sleep after the game.

Go Flames!

7 pm game in the U.K. for me! Really looking forward to it.

When the schedule comes out every year the first thing I do is look for the afternoon games. I think there was only two last year.

My worst memory of an afternoon games was a Nashville game in Calgary I went to 5-6 years ago. We did the 2 beer a period challenge and when we walked out after the game the sun was still up. Man I felt like a degenerate.
