Congratulations CaptainCrunch on 50,000 posts!
I just made my 11,000th post and it made me wonder who was the top contributor in terms of number of posts on CP over the years. Went to have a look and to my surprise it looks like Cap'n Crunch hit 50,000 this morning.
Good job old timer. If we assume the Cap'n averages five minutes per post, which if we factor in his Star Wars essays that might be a low estimate, he's wasted approximately a half of a year of his life posting on CP over the last 15 years.
It looked like TheScorpion was going to hit 50,000 before you, given the rate at which he was posting at for a little while there, but you managed to pull it out.
I'm sure someone's going to tell me this is wrong because the post count reset when the forum software changed but that's OK.

Congrats Cap! It says a lot about CP that the top contributor is so knowledgeable and well versed in many subjects.
I wonder how many posts Cap would have if the Star Wars essays were broken into trilogies like the films are?

Today's my ten-year CP-iversary, and I think my favourite thing over those ten years has been watching Captain Crunch go from "presents himself as grumpy-old-man" to "actually just a grumpy old man."

Just looked at the list, I didn't realize I had just recently passed 9000 posts myself. And according to the list, Cecil you're sitting in exactly 100th place for most CP posts (I'm #141) #RandomFacts
EDIT: and someone tell Drury18 to make a post, he's been sitting at 9,999 posts for over 3 months. Stop leaving us in suspense!!
