Hey CP,
I've been reading this website for my hockey news for at least a decade, just recently signed up but never started a thread.
This site is full of so many great people I thought I would share a quick story with you all.
4 years ago my Aunt passed away after a long battle with cancer. She was one of the most kind people I've ever known. Never had a negative thing to say about anybody.
Her three kids have all grown up to be incredible individuals in their own right. No doubt that it was due to her life lessons. They started an idea that is now in its 4th year and has really picked up steam. On January 13th (Wendy's birthday) our family and friends go out into their cities and perform random acts of kindness. Everything from donations to shelters, to handing out Tim Hortons gift cards, and even just a simple hug or friendly greeting to a stranger.
We have friends all over Canada involved, and a few over seas!

Acts are not required or intended to be monetary, just be kind to others and have a great day!
