Evan Shay and Morgan Ruig are just your average amateur golfers. As good mates since high school, they love hitting the links together, but will be first to admit they’re probably more accomplished on the 19th hole — the clubhouse bar — than they are on the golf course.

They came second last, just ahead of the Nepalese ambassador’s 15-year-old daughter, according to the duo.

“I hit 120 which apparently is not very good, and she [the caddie] thought it would bring great shame upon my family,” Ruig, 28, said.

“I think they saw through our story on the first tee,” Shay, 28,

Cool prank, but 120 bro? At least shoot less than 100 to make it quasi-believable that you're a good golfer having a bad round.

I don't know what counts as "tournament conditions" in NK but if it's anything like the PGA 100+ is probably normal for amateurs.

It's a good thing Kim Jong Un didn't play in the tournament himself and give others a chance. They would have reported he was minus a million, with 100 holes in one.
