So far this season, Hathaway has 6 points (3G, 3A) in 8 games for Stockton.
He was a healthy scratch for last night's game, which was a strong indication this was coming this morning.

Oh boy, the Flames have taken a hit. There's hardly another productive players left in the forward ranks. Not sure Hathaway is going to help.
But at the same time, the Flames need energy. Hopefully Hathaway gives them some jump.

Hathaway needs to seize this opportunity and prove that the role he's capable of playing will benefit this team. We've sorely lacked a #### disturber outside of Tkachuk and sometimes Ferland, with it unfair (and detrimental) to rely on the former to shoulder that burden entirely himself. Hathaway needs to hit everything that moves, get under the skin of anyone he can, and be responsible defensively. This team desperately needs something, anything, to fire them up.
