Its Czech-stop season!
The Nashville Predators GM can't help himself. I really wanted Vitek Vanecek from Minnesota and made a deal this morning to bring him into the fold. The deal is Vanecek and Jiri Sekac for the Minnesota 2nd I had.
Basically I think that while he's young, Vanecek looks good in the ECHL and hopefully develops into a full NHL starter over the next 4-5 years. Jiri Sekac is dinged up in the NHL right now, but should be back fairly soon and his injury is probably the main reason that Anaheim has been below expectations this year.
