WTB: RONA Gift Card

I need to make a few purchases at RONA, and am looking for a gift card. Kijiji has some listed, but I'm always a little cautious of the scams people run, so I'd rather buy from someone here.

I need about $100 in store credit, but I'll consider whatever amount you have.

To clarify, I'm willing to pay the actual value of the card in cash to someone who has one they can't or won't use. If I'm going to make the purchase anyway, I'd rather do someone a favour in the process.

My curiosity is wondering whether this purchase has anything to do with the athletic mannequin.

If you're worried about the scams, why not just let them pay it down at the till and then hand them the cash once it goes through?

Hahaha. Unfortunately not. :P (Well... they're very loosely related. But not in the way you're probably thinking. LOL)

I'm not so much worried about getting scammed myself; like you said, there are easy ways to avoid that. I've just heard that many of the gift cards offered at a discount on Kijiji are originally purchased with stolen credit cards, so I'd rather avoid any involvement in that.

You can also sign up for Reno Depot's mailing list; they often have a "buy item X and get a gift card for the same amount" promotion. Because Reno Depot is owned by Rona you can use the gift card at either store.
