SOLD: JBL LX66 Speakers

I am offering for sale a pair of JBL LX66 loudspeakers. $260.00

These are rare - made in Denmark for the European market. Here are the main specs:

The color is black ash and is vinyl veneer. There are a few dings here and there and that should be expected as they are circa 1991. I do not have the grills for these speakers but they look better without them anyway.

The woofer surrounds were replaced in the last couple of years.

My intent was to incorporate these into a home theatre set-up but they are just too large for my room. You really don't need a sub-woofer to compliment these speakers.

Note: these are 4 ohm speakers, so a quality amp is recommended to get the most out of these speakers. I have been using them in a 2-channel stereo rig with a Parasound amp. Sounds fantastic and a demo is available. The sound is big and full - mostly suited to dance and rock than classical. Paired with a good amp, these speaker will leave you breathless with the ground-shaking bass from the four 8" woofers and the crisp treble from the titanium tweeters. Depending on your set-up, you can drive these speakers hard and you will not be disappointed.
