Great value and term. He's still one of the best all-around centers in the game. A perfect #2 center who will be bumped down to #3 at some point in the future.

That's a pretty good looking contract. The term is just right and the money seems like it's in an acceptable range.

It's a fair price for what he brings on the ice.

For what he brings off ice and in terms of importance to the franchise, he's underpaid by about $10,000,000.

Is there a player in the NHL more important to their franchise than Fisher is in Nashville?

Yeeeah... I don't think she'd be moving. Pretty sure that if you want to assign a "breadwinner" label to that family it's assigned to Underwood.
