I gave up on wrestling a long time ago when The Hitman left but tonight I was flipping the channells and saw that raw was in montreal. Shawn Micheals came out for the first interview and I have never heard a guy get roasted so bad. Not even watching a sporting event have i heard boo's that loud. Crowd was soo freaking loud and wouldn't quit. "you screwed brett, a-hole chants, singing na na na hey hey hey goodbye and then the best of it all the "shut the f up" chants. Tsn tried to bleep out the f bombs to which was hilarious with how bad they missed it. Michaels played Bretts music and the crowd just went through the roof but it was just a tease. Anybody else catch this?

Though this was worthy of a post. Who knows maybe the Hitman returns sometime!

a friend of mine just messaged me on MSN saying it was insane... ran into the next room, took the remote and changed the channel on my parents, and aunt and uncle, to watch it... SIMPLY AMAZING

they were going nuts... I never heard the crowd censored that much before, usually it gets through, but HBK was tough to make out with pauses in the audio at times

Yeah, I'm watching RAW right now.

Tonight made me believe even more that he's going to make an appearance this weekend. I cant see them mentioning him so much in this angle without actually using him in some way now that the two are working together. His DVD probably wont be out until October or November and maybe later and usually they dont promote a DVD until about 2-3 weeks before it's released and they've made no mention on RAW about a Hitman DVD.

Well, atleast for a couple of weeks.

Is there actually wrestling anymore? Every time I flip past WWE, it is nothing but bad actors all roided up talking.

Then again, that is the only capacity that Bret Hart could come back in, as his wrestling carreer was medically ended a long time ago.

The first 15-20 minutes usually is a promo but the rest is wrestling with the odd short promo.

Brett might not be medically clear to wrestle but that doesnt mean he cant do something like come in and hit Michaels with a chair or trip him while he's bouncing off the ropes.

I don't understand how they could miss the censors. The shows aren't live when they're aired on TV. I've been to a few Smackdown shows myself in the past, and they crowd did some chants, probably not like what apparently happened tonight (I did not watch tonight), but still, how do you miss the audio bleeps?

Smackdown, at least in the past, used to air on Thursdays, and the show was shot usually on a Monday two weeks prior to the air date.

I've never gotten into the wrestling thing, it's crap, for me it's like watching a HORRIBLE action movie over and over. I watched it twice and thought it was shinguard, I've always wondered how a grown adult could watch such a shinguardty show such as wrassling?

That was probably the single best segment in Wrestling in the last few years.

Shawn Michaels still has it. He knows how to work a crowd. I didn't see the beginning of it, but I could see him working the crowd and milking it for all it was worth. They were hot and he kept cranking up the heat. Some good writing for them to decide to play Bret's music and have it end up being Shawn fooling the crowd. Finally something interesting happened on wrestling.

I shut the tv off after the Shawn Michaels segment. There is no way anything else on the rest of the show could be as exciting as the first segment.

I used to watch WWF in the Brett Hart days, once he was gone I completley lost interest. I saw this thread and watched the start of raw, and thought it was cool to hear that theme music again.

If he returned I would definitely tune in to see what happens.

Yes. Just to further clarify, RAW is shot live on Mondays, with an encore show on at 10:00. Smackdown is shot on Tuesdays and aired on Thursdays. They need to make Smackdown live, IMO.

There is talk that he'll do a run in at SummerSlam and punch out Shawn Michaels, and maybe even Hogan too.

With the sexual and violent themes that are in it now I wouldnt say it's aimed anywhere near 8 year olds. It was when I was a kid but not anymore.

I never said it was meant for kids, just that the intelligence of it is of something like the Teletubbies.
