I was at work and listening on the radio, but it sounded like Wideman had his best game as a flame, with 35 or so minutes of ice and 2 assists. I think he was 1st star on the radio broadcast.

Were they overstating things?

No I don't think they were overstating, I think a lot of players are having their best game as a Flames right now, everyone really stepping up to snub out the doubters on the Flames and making Gio and us fans proud!

Him and Russell logged a few more minutes then they would have as TJ got a puck over the glass penalty. I wouldn't exactly start construction on the bronze statue yet! He is still a defensive liability. He was on the ice for 2 of the 3 goals against. He did get a couple of apples, but he still needs to be better in his own end.

Is Russell the same defensive liability? He was on for 2 as well.
