I think it says more about the population not the paper. There are many other reputable sources running this story as well. They have stupid story's that are trending as well. The general population would rather read about stupid #### then any hard news.

Oh I believe the story you posted happened. It was simply a fly by observation about the website you used as a source. Wasn't anything deeper then that.
