Two streams of thought. Either the GM blabbers too much or the GM doesn't say enough. Can't please all people and have both. I think Treliving keeping the cards close to his chest is a lot better option to have. Even if he doesn't say anything he is better to listen to in the media than Darryl Sutter was during his time in Calgary. (Darryl had his gems back then too, but not as often as in LA, and those gems weren't as widely appreciated as they are now).
