Apologies...I have no idea on Canadian TV coverage for these games.

On NBC in the US:

Pittsburgh at Chicago...Scoreless after one, was an 1040am (MST) start

St. Louis at Florida - 1500hrs (MST) (Local FoxSports channels)

Philadelphia at Buffalo - 1730hrs (MST) (NBCSports)

Tampa Bay at San Jose - 1800hrs (MST) (Local Comcast and Sun Network)

Washington at Anaheim - 1800 (MST) (Local Comcast and FoxSports)

This is the NHL's dream Stanley Cup Final series. It is scoreless after one period.
Since all canadian teams played yesterday, none are playing today. That is why City
is showing the Penguins-Blackhawks game which is produced by Rogers.
Viewers have a choice of feeds to watch with Bob Cole, Greg Millen, and David Amber
or Emrick, Olcyzk, and McGuire.

This will be the game many here will be following as the Flames
and Sharks are just separated by one point and it is the Sharks
game in hand. The Lightning are in a six way scramble for first place in the
eastern conference. The top six teams are five points or less from each other.

Pittsburgh dodges a couple penalties...a D-man hoists one over the High glass, all the way to the 'Hawk bench...as I understand the rule, as it was over the HIGH GLASS, that still has to be a penalty...but...no call...

Then, Crosby gets his stick in Oduya's skates...a Ref makes the call...then, the Refs huddle, then call Crosby back out of the box, and reverse the call. I have NEVER seen a call reversed, after it has been made, and I have been watching Hockey since 1964.

Now, was the original call the right one? I don't think so, but, as a fan, I have seen my team suffer from crummy calls countless times...and often were "punished" due to these bad calls (heck, two of the Kings GWGs in last year's conference finals were clearly on offside plays!)...randomly reversing Karma here, just because Crosby cried his way to the box? Just seems wrong...is the precedent that officials are going to second guess themselves every time they raise their arm going to be an acceptable norm? Only for calls against superstars? I say, if there were doubts, then the ref should have never lifted his arm to start with.

Daniel Sedin whined his way out of a Vancouver penalty against Calgary earlier in the year.

In the case of Crosby's penalty, I think that was the right reversal. Either Oduya tripped over his own two feet, or that was a fineable dive. It wasn't a trip though.

Go back and watch it. Crosby didnt even touch Oduya, he just fell. I dont think its a big deal for the refs to talk and get it right. They did get it right, and not because Crosby "cried his way to the box". ridiculous

^^I see your point and I've never seen it either.
Still, they got the call right and I like it.

They do it in the NFL and I see no problem with it.

I really didn't think it was a penalty either...my point is, a Ref has to be confident in his call to start with...if Watson, I think, had a doubt, he should have kept his arm down to start with...

Toews, Kane, and Sharp absolutely abuse Fleury in the Trick Shot portion of the competition...'Hawks get the 2 points...Pens get 1

No surprise the Hawks get the win.......they weren't playing one of our Wild Card competitors today.

Useless pricks.

Good news, the game will be replayed on Sportsnet One tonight at 2330h. All City games on Sunday are replayed at that time.

Schwartz has scored for the Blues midway through the second period and it is 1-0 after two periods.

1-0 Lightning over San Jose after one. Stamkos with his 30th. Tampa needs to be a bit better though. The Sharks spent a lot of time pressing.
