Good effort in the third. They needed that same effort and jump in the other two periods. Great debut by Jooris. Need more youth like that in the lineup.

Josh Jooris looks like a player. Gotta be happy about that. Pretty much found money.

We'll get'em next time... still thinking this road trip is a success, especially if they rebound and beat WPG

Man, that was a heck of a finish. If only we didn't play like crap in the first and second, we might've won. At least they didn't give up!

Congrats to Jooris!

I'll say it early... Look at the results of bringing up some of our young talent. We are in a rebuild year, why aren't we bringing up more players and giving them ice time to develop?

Awesome game! Jooris with a beautiful goal in front of his family. awesome compete from the team especially after the Jooris goal. Proving again that this team doesn't quit and you're going to have to play 60 minutes if you want to hold a lead. Sucks to get the loss but you can't win em all.

Thought Jooris was arguably the best Flame tonight, picking up right where he left off during the pre-season. Shows why he shouldn't have been sent down to start with, IMO. The team needs more of what he brings.

Great third period push though and an exciting finish against a good Columbus team.

On to the Jets!

I didn't even realize Erixon was playing until after the game.

Nice comeback attempt, there were so many good chances to tie it. The start was horrible and the difference in the game though. Oh, and a great debut from Jooris!

Soooo close to an epic comeback with that post in the last minute. Jooris looked awesome. Hopefully that ends some of the whining that was heard today about why he was being handed top 6 minutes.

First 2 periods were garbage, the 3rd was a superb effort though. So close to tying it with that Gio shot. Jooris was superb and Brodie and Gio were also good as per. Happy with how we did tonight, despite the poor first 40 minutes.

Jooris looks like a keeper. It'll be an interesting decision process for the Flames in the coming weeks on how this roster gets ironed out before game 20.

I feel it's better to be a great third period team than a great first period team. Flames just need to suck a little bit less in the first. Other than that, I can see a big push after the allstar break out of this squad. once the kinks get worked out, this team could be a dark horse.

Third period was a thriller. They really tried hard. Gio was gassed on the bench. Thought he had the goal there.

We're barely above the salary cap right now, we'd pretty much have to send down a young player to bring up a young player

That post!!! Impressed we stayed in their zone when Ramo was pulled. I'm happy with the effort.

Because we are red and white with a flaming C not blue and copper with a logo that is LITERALLY killing us all as we take a breath.

Love what Jooris brings. He's gonna be very good piece of this team moving forward. If only the whole team had played the entire game the way they played the third period. I think that's what pissed me off the most, the lack of effort in the first frame and a half. Great exciting third though. Lots of fun when the Flames actually work their butts off. And with that I leave you this.

Man, what a fire drill in the Jackets zone with the goalie pulled. Great looks and hit a post, so close to tying it. Congrats to Josh on his first career NHL goal, it was a beauty.

It's a flattering final score given how most of the play went - but hats off to the guys for not folding. We need a better start and fewer penalties. We hung around after the first five minutes. Almost stole a point or two with the push at the end.

Jooris making it tough on coaches, forcing things from the bottom up. I hope he gets another chance on Sunday.

Not looking forward to hearing about #Johnnygate for the rest of the weekend / month / season.
