I'm guessing the second group plays tonight - Monahan, Gio, Stajan, Bennett (?!).
And the Sylvan Lake group will probably head out to Vancouver.

I bet we see Bennett tonight. I wouldn't be totally surprised to see some cuts today but more likely after the game tomorrow night.

Why are they dressing 8 defensemen? Is someone going to play up on the wing or something?
I can't wait to see Bennett play with the big boys. Should be a good one.

No, the Flames play in Vancouver tomorrow night. It's game one of a home-and-home. There are no more split squad games for the Flames this preseason.

There are two extra bodies on this list that will not dress tonight. 7 defensemen seems likely.
