I am spoiled to be able to experience the snowbirds many times a year here in Moose Jaw! Go see them! The Hornet is cool but being able to witness such precision flying in formation is amazing!! Definitely worth you time!

I was at Golden Acres (McKnight and Deerfoot) last night picking up a few things with the family and I noticed that the planes were taking off heading south over McCall Lake so I decided to head over to the viewing area for a few minutes and let me kid watch a few planes fly overhead.
We saw a couple Westjet flights take off and a small Canadair RJ. To my surprise a CF-18 came rolling down the runaway and hit the skies overhead while we were there. It was pretty cool to see and hear. I assumed he must have been heading for High River. This was shortly after 7pm.
