Where do you guys recommend to watch the game downtown (for bars that have the sound/atmosphere). I've been to Jamiesons. Heard Ship is obviously good.
(ps, Dutch fan, if that matters).

I usually recommend the Pig & Duke but I reckon downtown bars and pubs would be busier during the day. I'd think the Unicorn would be a good spot, can anyone confirm?

What can you say, its a World Cup semi-final and we typically expect those to be tight.
I think the Dutch are a better team than Argentina and I think the Argentines have gotten this far based on luck of the draw. They havent played any really strong teams and barely got by Switzerland and Belgium. And Messi, who manages to pull rabbits out of hats when its needed the most.
If the Dutch want to win they've got to after them like they did against Spain.

If you thought this season would have a happy ending, you haven't been paying attention.
I want a Netherlands-Germany final as I believe that has the most potential for a classic game. But Argentina, despite not playing that great, just has to stick around and then Messi can simply elevate and steal it for them. The Dutch need a good start and early goal I think to win this game. Letting Argentina stick around is a recipe to get Messi'd.

I think that's the right read on the match. Argentina have failed to impress (despite winning) against some pretty mediocre competition. Compare their route to the final against Brazil's, for example, and it's not even close.
I'm hoping the Dutch go through for the simple reason that they are a more dynamic and entertaining team that, if they go down a goal or two against Germany, are capable of coming back. Robben's a flopper and their backup goalie is a dooshbag, but they're still deserving of an appearance in the final based on overall team play to this point.
I know Unicorn is usually very good, but i wonder how busy it will be just with the stampede crowd and more difficult to get a seat.

If the game is tight Van Persie can often give you that one piece of magic to win the game. (Argentina has a pretty good player capable of that as well).
If Robben dives his way to another win, I'm gonna break my TV.
As a neutral who used to really like Dutch players growing up (Bergkamp, Overmars, Davids, Seedorf), it's shocking how much I can't stand their recent batch of players.

Argentina is too dependent on Messi. You watch Fernando Gago, all he does when he receives the ball is give to Messi and then stands there. He then wait for the opponent's attack, wins the ball again later and gives it to Messi.
