This stepper machine is professional gym quality. It's battery-powered, and has just had the battery replaced, so it works like new. Fantastic machine, has a number of programs for varying intensity. Also, heart rate sensors on the arms.
I find stairmasters like this to be a much better alternative to a treadmill, as it takes up less floor space than just about any other type of machine, plus it's low impact: it doesn't beat up your joints (especially knees) the way a treadmill does. As a bonus, it does wonders for your calves and hamstrings, so you're not just doing cardio. Lots of high points.
This particular model has an arm to hook up a monitor or TV, but this has not been tested by me - I just used the machine itself.
The dimensions are 46"L x 39"W x 82"H. Very solidly built and also very heavy. Will require two people to move, as well as a decent size truck. At retail, something like this would cost upwards of $3000, and they're not the easiest to find second hand, so this is a steal if you need a heavy-duty piece of cardio equipment. Asking $750.
