I was just thinking about when you were uploading another video, haha.
Backlund was awesome this year. He has emerged as a great two-way player and a leader. Awesome to see his growth as a player with the Flames. Thanks for the video!

I love watching that overtime goal against the Wild!
Probably my favourite of the year for Backlund. I love when he gets the puck on the boards and waits to get checked or pinned but nobody comes towards him, so he just cuts to the net.
Beautiful pass and hand/eye to follow it up.

That and the goal in Nashville where he dips the shoulder, cuts to the slot and snipes it was a favourite of mine. Also, the skate pass he does vs the Blackhawks (6:47 of the video) was awesome.

That one against the Pens was my favorite one... Just showed how hard he worked for us to get out of that scoring slump with few minutes left in that game.
Pretty awesome to think that Johnny hockey is starting his nhl career with either backlund or stajan. A backlund gaudreau jones line would put up numbers next year.
What stood out for me is that most of his goals were scored when we were either trailing or tied. Backlund is what our "no quit" mentality is all about. Night after night, he would be the hardest working Flame on the team. I'm extremely happy that we re-signed him, despite his struggles early in his career
