The Goat: Flames' physicality. We were outmuscled in front of Ramo most of the time.
It's IMHO the right time to swap Butler or Russel for Chris Breen.

other than that, good write up as usual

I reject your boxer image and substitute my own!

Unsung hero from last night was Backlund with his forechecking and puck pursuit. Thought he played a great game.

My unsung hero would be TJ--------Galiardi. He was all over the place and hitting everything that touched the puck. He was very effective on the PK and fore-checked relentlessly.

Best overall team effort of the season IMO as they went toe to toe with a very good Kings team in their own building. Glencross struggled but he also made a few good plays and I agree with the poster above as you can argue there wasn't a goat in this game.

anyone else feel that the "Big Hit" was a little late in being delivered???

also wanted to see McGrattan go after Carcillo after he took a run at Hudler

Colborne is starting to grow on me. His size and reach lets him win a lot of battles for the puck along the boards. Calgary is starting to play a 'bigger' game IMO.

You heard it here first. Sean Monahan will be staying a Calgary Flame (sorry London)
Isn't Monahan part of the Ottawa 67s?

Yes. Giordano clearly dropped the puck near the blue line for Hudler.
But, the goal right after the hit would have negated the delayed penalty call anyway.

Probably means London won't be able to trade for him to load up for yet another Memorial Cup run.

Wracking my brain but can't figure out who ended up in the press box for this one? Someone must have sat to make room for Cammalleri.

I agree, he is a perfect bottom 6 player to have on your roster.
